The Project Will Deliver...
- a map of the current position (the nature of the workforce, current HR issues and current activity or plans to address the issues);
- a vision for this workforce area, to development up to 2010;
- a better understanding of the paradigm shifts that are characterising the work of health care educators and researchers in a modern health and education system;
- proposed intermediate actions on the most pressing issues that require attention prior to the launch of the Plan in 2004;
- a draft Plan agreed with Key Stakeholders available for full consultation with all Stakeholders;
- a report of the consultation exercise; and
- a published HR Plan.
Project Timetable for 2004
- January - April; upto 9 countrywide meetings for approximately 100 Stakeholders at each, to focus on the development of the first draft of the HR Plan
- March - April; two social care focus groups (London and Leeds) to look at specfic issues relating to social care
- April - June; first draft produced
- 8th June; interim draft report to StLaR
- July - September; public consultation on the HR Plan
- October - December; final revisions, approval and printing
- November; final HR Plan to StLaR
